The goal of this project was to design a replacement for the 3rd row seating in a 2021 Toyota 4runner allowing for extra storage space and an even surface for pets. The solution needed to be secure and easily removable. Utilizing an innovative twist lock design, each of the 4 platform mounts can be quickly detached, freeing up the full space in the trunk area.
